Il crescente aumento delle infezioni microbiche è aggravato dalla rapida emergenza e diffusione di cloni resistenti agli antibiotici e spesso multi-drug-resistant (MDR), ovvero resistenti a più di tre classi antibiotiche.
Il contenuto del modulo I del corso riflette la crescente importanza del problema dell'antibiotico-resistenza correlato alla disponibilità di nuovi antibiotici introdotti nella pratica clinica.
1. RESISTENZA AGLI ANTIBIOTICI: UN PROCESSO CONTINUO:
- Diffusione e trasferimento di geni della resistenza agli antibiotici (ARG) tra uomo/animale/ambiente
- Il modello “One-Health” per affrontare la resistenza agli antimicrobici (AMR)
- Strategie di acquisizione delle resistenze agli antimicrobici (AMR) convenzionali.
- Meccanismi di azione delle principali classi antibiotiche
- Nuovi antibiotici
- Principali “players” della Resistenza agli Antibiotici: i patogeni del gruppo ESKAPE
